Our Strokes of Faith collection was inspired by the idea of "painted brush strokes" and some of my favorite Christian music songs. These songs have been instrumental in my personal healing journey after losing my sister. Let these cards inspire you and remind you of what it means to walk in faith.

Years ago, I painted Stephanie a picture that read, "And there's a lack of color here". The painting was splattered with paint blobs and abstract colors, much like this journal. The original painting symbolized the inner struggles we deal with in our own lives--to the outward eye, the painting was in fact very colorful. But the painting itself felt like it was lacking color. Stephanie had this painting in her apartment in New Jersey, and since her passing, it has found its new home at the residence of Stephanie's best and oldest childhood friend. 

A few years ago, Steph sat in my backyard and painted what she saw. I loved looking out my window watching the inspiration ooze out of her. This is a picture of the actual painting Stephanie painted of my backyard in Minnesota in July of 2020.
